Harris County Emergency Services District 10 (HCESD-10) is dedicated to providing professional fire protection, prevention, and emergency response to the communities we serve.
Our mission is to safeguard lives, property, and businesses through rapid response, strategic planning, and continuous training.
HCESD-10 operates as a fully funded fire protection district, ensuring our firefighters have the training, equipment, and resources needed to protect the citizens of Northeast Harris County effectively.
We serve a growing population with round-the-clock emergency services, emphasizing fire suppression, rescue operations, and hazard mitigation.
For over 39 years, Eastex Fire Department and HCESD-10 has been steadfast in its mission to provide exceptional fire protection and emergency services to our community.
Established in 1986, we have continually evolved to meet the growing needs of our Community, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents through dedication, innovation, and unwavering commitment.
Harris County is home to nearly 5 million people, making it the third most populous county in the United States and a vital hub of growth and development.
Spanning 1,778 square miles, Harris County covers a vast area, larger than the entire state of Rhode Island, with diverse communities and landscapes.
Harris County ESD-10 is protected by more than 4 fire stations, ensuring rapid response and public safety for all residents.
The HCESD-10 Board of Commissioners is dedicated to ensuring the highest level of fire protection and safety for Harris County.
